Chesapeake Plastics Manufacturing has the tools and technical experience to meet your injection mold needs. We utilize mobile, wireless technology for Statistical Process Control at the machines allowing for better process control while minimizing variation and rejects on the production floor. We currently have 5 machines that range from 30 tons to 500 tons clamping power with the ability to run as little as 64 parts to 80,000 parts per month. We are able to produce parts up to 4 pounds.

With over three decades of combined experience combined with the ability to manage the entire manufacturing process in-house, we have the capability to scale production as large or as small as your project requires. To facilitate large scale production, our facility can run on three shifts, which shortens lead time on these larger projects. Our entire process, beginning with design, is done in-house at our Lusby, Maryland location which makes the lead time on projects significantly shorter than working with several contractors. We also employ a Cellular Manufacturing Process in our facility, meaning that your part only goes in a box once. We are also ISO 9000 Compliant and follow Lean Manufacturing practices to reduce part cost and increase efficiency of our daily operations. Depending on the complexity of the project, we can complete the entire process from design to manufacturing in as little as 30 days to 6 months.
